This was a gorgeously colorful, musical journey of a film wrapped in love letter to Mexican culture. I can’t tell you the whirlwind of emotions this movie made me feel from start to finish. The world they build around these characters is something you won’t soon forget and draws you in deeper as the story plays out.
As in many Pixar/Disney movies there is a huge focus on family. However the approach taken in this particular film is so refreshing; it was a pleasure to see it played out on the big screen. And as if you didn’t already know, there will be some tear jerking moments for sure. So just come prepared.
