Sure the outfits may have looked strange or out of place for the characters. But I almost guarantee that it’s just their “normal clothes” and they’ll eventually transition into suits closer to the comics. They are probably just trying to start things off somewhat grounded with the characters and then build off of that. Very similar to what they’ve done in the Arrow-verse.
This definitely has a blend of the TV and movies styles. Which is probably a smart approach with this going directly to the new DC streaming platform. I’m not saying that this is the best trailer I’ve seen or that it will even end up being good. All I’m saying is I’m much more interested in this live action series than I was before. So in that sense the trailer did it’s job.
