This was a cute kids film with some substance scratching towards the surface. However in my opinion was a bit lacking in the overall narrative and “heart strings” moments. Maybe my standards are a bit too high due to companies like Pixar. But if you’re truly going to keep me attention and interest in a kids movie there just needs to be a bit more. I will say that if you have a family this a perfect one for the kids. There’s a laugh or two there for the parents, just don’t expect too much of that.
