Just finished The Cloverfield Paradox after it surprisingly dropped on Netflix without any warning. I won’t go full on into the specifics of the movie to avoid spoilers. But I will say that if you have been a fan of the past 2 movies. There’s lots to take away from this one as far as universe building.
It sort of answers some questions while creating a whole bunch of new ones. And while overall I still find 10 Cloverfield Lane to be the best of the series so far. That’s not to say it’s not worth watching. This is just a completely different set of circumstances and style than we’ve had before. But I feel that is kinda what they were going for.
The fourth installment is already being worked on and is said to be set in WWII. So we’ll just have to wait and see if they decide to follow the thread they’ve woven or take it somewhere else.
